| Cheerleading Tryout Tips |
Tryouts will be coming up soon and everyone gets pretty nervous! Here's some tips to remember *Smile!!!! *Don't bend your wrists.Sharp, clean movements are a must! *Don't wear jewelery, make-up or nailpolish to tryouts. *Be loud and keep good eye contact with the judges. *Wear comfortable clothing to tryouts. Ex: t-shirt,cloth shorts, athletic shoes with socks. *Make sure that your hair is pulled back from your face. No hair hanging in your eyes! *Most importantly; do your best and don't give up! If you didn' make a squad last year,THIS COULD BE YOUR YEAR! | ||||||||||||||||

PURPOSE: The purpose of a cheerleading squad shall be to promote and uphold league spirit, to develop a sense of good sportsmanship among the audience, and to better the relationship between leagues. OBJECTIVES: A. To promote the type of conduct that will help children to acquire the basic attributes of good sportsmanship. B. To develop a wholesome league spirit. C. To develop a loyalty to your league and team regardless of the outcome of the game. D. To help your league achieve the most worthwhile objectives of it's athletic events. E. To promote the aspects of maturity and responsibility in the squad members. F. To be a leader and display the appropriate qualities of such at all league functions. | ||||||||||||||||
